FAQ

Common questions.

The ones we hear most. If yours isn't here, send it through the form.

How soon can you come?

It depends on the week. In a July heat wave or a January cold snap, everyone's system fails at once and the schedule fills. Tell us what's going on and we'll give you an honest date.

Should I repair or replace?

Age and the cost of the fix decide it. A repair that buys a system several more good years is usually worth doing. When it wouldn't be, we'll tell you, and you decide from there.

Do you charge for estimates?

Estimates on replacements and new installs are free. Repair calls are different, because the diagnosis is most of the work. Ask when you book and we'll explain the charge before anyone drives out.

What areas do you serve?

The Wasatch Front. If you're not sure that covers you, put your city in the form and we'll tell you.

Do you work with builders?

Yes. New homes and small commercial builds, from rough-in through startup. Send us the mechanical plans and we'll price from them.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes, in the State of Utah. If you'd like proof of insurance before work starts, ask and we'll send it.

Is a yearly tune-up worth it?

Usually. Dirty coils, weak capacitors, and clogged filters cause a lot of mid-season breakdowns. A fall furnace check or a spring A/C check catches them while they're cheap to fix.

Tell us what you need.

If you're not sure what's wrong, that's fine. Describe what the house is doing and we'll go from there.
